A transparent Québec French learning path from first local interactions through independent life, workplace communication and test preparation.
A Québec French curriculum should combine international French literacy with local listening and real Québec tasks at every stage. Exam preparation is one pathway inside the curriculum, not the whole language.
Foundation: take part locally
Beginners work with identity, food, transport, appointments, housing and repair language. Grammar includes present tense, questions, negation, articles, adjective agreement and high-frequency modal frames. Audio consistently includes Québec voices.
Independent use: live and work
Learners narrate past events, explain problems, understand public information and participate in workplace exchanges. They expand pronouns, tense choice, connectors, register and listening across ordinary informal speech.
TEF, TCF and TEFAQ pathways
Dedicated tracks can map skills to current official formats for TEF Canada, TCF Canada, TCF-Québec or TEFAQ. The app must link to the responsible authority and avoid promising an immigration outcome.
Advanced range and identity
Higher-level work develops argument, professional genres, media, humour, variation and the ability to adjust between formal written French and spontaneous local speech without treating either as inferior.
Honest progress claims
CEFR and NCLC labels describe abilities and official test equivalencies. Completing app screens does not itself produce a recognised score, certificate or immigration credential.

Is NCLC the same as CEFR?
They are different frameworks. Official authorities publish the score and level correspondences used for their programmes.
Will the curriculum teach France French too?
It teaches widely shared standard French while centring Québec pronunciation, vocabulary and situations.
Can an app certify immigration French?
No. Only accepted official evidence and testing processes can do that.
